BINK Golf
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
BINK is a golf career simulator game for the rest of us.
Playing with a wireless mouse and tired of glitchy swing mechanics in golf games? Do you get overwhelmed by the complexity of games like WGT and just want to shoot 18 holes? Want to let your character do the skill development while you focus on course strategy?
BINK golf is for you.
Currently in Early Access Alpha, the game is far from complete, but it is playable right now.
Every shot you take levels up your character for a certain spread of skills, and all you have to do is take aim, set the power meter, and hit the "swing" button. Your character will take care of the rest.
The next series of updates to version 0.5 will focus on adding calendar events and different game-play mechanics. At that point the game will transition to Beta for quality-of-life upgrades, balancing, and polish.
Make a "pay what you want" payment now and don't worry about paying for future updates. There is no plan for DLCs or other "extra paid features."
The game is single-player and will likely remain in that realm, with the focus on developing your character from friendly matches against AI/CPU "friends" all the way through Q-School and tournament play.
Have fun, drop a review, and leave comments and suggestions. I can't promise that suggestions will become game elements, but I will be considering all of them, even if they're silly, because in the end I just want to make the most fun golf game out there for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
note: the mac version does not currently have registration with app-store so you may have to fight with gatekeeper to get it to run.

You should add post processing and shadows, the visual of the game help in grabbing attention, just a friendly suggestions :)
There will be lots of time for that, trying to build out career mode. Once I'm out of alpha I'll start dressing everything up a little prettier.
Mostly at this point trying to hammer out all the mechanics. Building a custom physics engine today. Made a lot of progress but still need to factor in ball spin and wind, so far it's looking pretty dope though. Way better than the stock engine that's packaged with godot.
Thanks for dropping by Yoyo, hope everything is going well on your games.
You're using godot engine? Then I wanna know a few things from you how good is the godots physics engine and what's up with godot 4.0, how good is 3d lighting in godot 4.0??
I dunno, the physics engine seems to work well enough, it made this manageable. Course I'm writing my own for the ball physics, just too many detail things for a stock engine but for regular stuff it seems to work fine. I really don't have a basis for comparison. Haven't used too many other engines, cept maybe a few 2d deals a long time ago.
Oh, btw thanks for the reply, I appreciate it :)
Just a quick thank you to anyone taking a look. Much appreciated.
